Production sprocket
Diviš, Adam ; Štroner, Marek (referee) ; Lidmila, Zdeněk (advisor)
The project elaborated design of technology production of the sprocket using die forging from steel C45. Pursuant to of the literary pursuit a problem of the die forging and calculation was designed manufacturing process for three operations. Dimensions of forging and tool are designed according to appropriate standards. Forging will be done on forging press LZK 1000 P/SH, with nominal tensile force 10 MN. Dies will be made from instrumental steel 19 662 heat-worked according to drawing documentation.
Production of weapon conclusion
Diviš, Adam ; Forejt, Milan (referee) ; Lidmila, Zdeněk (advisor)
The thesis deals with the design of technology for production of weapon conclusion by die forging. The weapon conclusion will be made of C45 steel in series of 500 000 pieces per year. Before forging, the base semi-finished product will be treated using cross-wedge rolling technology. Thanks to the chosen production process, the forging will be made as four pieces. A simulation of the forging process was made for the created design. Results of a simulation showed that metal did not fill entire hollow. Based on these results was made changes in design and the simulation was performed again. According to the results of the second simulation, the hollow has already been filled with metal. For the forging was chosen the machine LZK 2500P from Šmeral a.s with a nominal force 25MN. In the conclusion there was a technical-economic evaluation of costs for the material required for production of entire series.
Welding of steel C45
Hála, Kamil ; Sigmund, Marian (referee) ; Kubíček, Jaroslav (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor‘s thesis is to propose a suitable welding parameters for a small part of steel C45. This steel contains a high percentage of carbon and therefore is difficult to weld. Gas shielded arc welding techniques were considered to be used, and from such techniques, the TIG method seems to be the most advantageous one. For this technique were suggested three groups of parameters and the most suitable one was chosen to be used for the production. The option chosen is of a welding power I=40 A and with preheating 200 °C. The component is made in the single-part production in SAAB Czech s.r.o.
Heat treatment of formed parts
Leška, Radim ; Jopek, Miroslav (referee) ; Lidmila, Zdeněk (advisor)
In the research part, the bachelor thesis deals with forming, the mechanism of plastic deformation and steels used for forming. It also describes the principles of heat treatment, specifically the methods used in the preparation of semi-finished products, pressings, and forgings, i.e., annealing, hardening, and tempering. In the practical part, several experiments were performed on C45 steel. The first of them verified the effect of strain hardening after compaction, the others were focused on recrystallization, full annealing, hardening, and tempering. The effect of deformation and heat treatment was assessed in terms of hardness, which was measured by the Vickers hardness test.
Production of chain wheel
Haltmar, Vojtěch ; Štroner, Marek (referee) ; Lidmila, Zdeněk (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis deals with the production of chain wheel using the method of die forging. The wheel is made of C45 steel and is a part of the transmission of construction machinery. Based on the required mechanical properties of the component and batch production which amounts 20,000 pieces per year, three operations die forging is proposed for the production. An intermediate good for the production of the wheel is a cylindrical block with a 50 mm diameter and length of 100 mm. The forming machine for the production is vertical forging press LMZ 1600 P/SH with the nominal force of 16 MN. The trimming press LKOA 200 with the nominal force of 2 MN is used to remove the excess material. Forging dies are produced from tool steel ČSN 19 650 and are based on the technical drawings. The thesis also compares the production of chain wheel by machining and die forging concluding that the use of die forging method saves an amount of 42 CZK per piece.
